π¦ Who is Lord Narasimha?
Lord Narasimha is the fourth avatar of Lord Vishnu β half-man, half-lion β who appeared in a blazing form of righteous fury to destroy evil and protect his ardent devotee Prahlada.
He is not just a deity; he is a force. A reminder that when injustice rises, the divine doesnβt stay silent.
π₯ The Story That Echoes Through Ages
Long ago, a cruel demon king named Hiranyakashipu was granted a boon that made him nearly impossible to kill. His arrogance grew, and he demanded to be worshipped as god. But his own son, Prahlada, stood firm in his devotion to Lord Vishnu.
Outraged, Hiranyakashipu asked his son:
βWhere is your Vishnu now?β
Prahlada calmly replied:
βHe is everywhere β even in this pillar.β
Furious, the king struck the pillar with his sword.
And there came the roar.
From the pillar emerged Narasimha β not man, not beast; not day, not night; not inside, not outside. He tore the demon apart with his claws, thus protecting truth, dharma, and his beloved devotee.
